Resin can be used to make various handmade jewelry such as rings, studs, pendants, frames, handmade wooden jewelry, and bracelets, where you can use different colors to make it even more unique and attractive.

If we take a brief look at the history of resin

In the middle of the 20th century, resin art became more and more common, especially in the 1960s and 1970s. Artists of the time used novel mediums and methods because of the period's experimental and original outlook. Because artists used resin to push the boundaries of regular art forms, the period known as avant-garde began to be associated with it.

In instance, resins were utilized to make resins for oil paintings all over the Middle Ages, when they were first used through art. To improve the brightness and its durability of their works, artists like Leonardo da Vinci worked with finishes based on resin.

If we delve deeper, resin gained popularity in art and jewelry during the 1970s because 'there was a reaction to preciousness,' Ms. Murphy said, and artists 'wanted to do something new.' If we look at some cases, we can see the work of two British designers. First, Peter Chang, whose polyester and epoxy resin bracelet is part of the permanent collection at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Susanna Heron, whose moon-shaped brooch in silver and scarlet resin can be seen at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
